Make sure the app has permission to access your photo library. On iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Photo Cleaner AI → Full Access. On Android: Settings → Apps → Photo Cleaner AI → Permissions → Photos and videos → Allow.
On iOS, deleted photos move to the "Recently Deleted" album for 30 days. Open Photos → Albums → Recently Deleted and empty it to reclaim the space immediately. Android devices with a Trash/Bin folder in Google Photos or the Gallery app work the same way.
The first scan analyzes your whole library on-device and can take a few minutes for very large libraries (20,000+ photos). Later scans only process new photos and are much faster. Keeping the app in the foreground during the first scan helps.
Use "Restore Purchases" in the app's Settings tab. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID / Google account you used to buy Premium. If it still doesn't appear, email us with your order receipt.
No. All scanning and analysis happens entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and the app works without an account or internet connection.
Never. You review every group before cleanup, and deletion only happens after you explicitly confirm. The best photo in each group is pre-selected to keep, not delete.

It scores each photo on sharpness, brightness, resolution, and the number of faces detected, then stars the highest-scoring shot. You can always override the choice.
